Interventional radiology has many points of contact with other specialisms within the hospital, which makes my work varied and enjoyable. Modern methods make it possible for interventional radiologists to place less stress on patients during treatment. If a successful treatment has caused minimum stress to my patient, I go home with a good feeling. In a conversation, I find it important to reassure my patients that we are doing our utmost for them.
