Frequently Asked Questions About Sports Medicine
Yes, sports and fitness tests are part of our sports medicine services. However, these tests are not yet conducted at the Zaans Medical Center (ZMC). If necessary, we can provide a referral to a specialized facility for these tests.
If necessary, you can be referred to any of the following specialties:
- Cardiology – For additional heart and vascular screenings.
- Radiology – For diagnostic imaging such as ultrasound or MRI.
- Orthopedics – For further examination of joints or hyaluronic acid injections.
- Pulmonology – For respiratory or lung-related concerns.
- Dermatology – For skin-related conditions and treatments.
Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that you receive comprehensive care tailored to your needs.
Since July 2024, CliniX has established an intensive collaboration with the sports medicine department. Additionally, efforts are underway to develop a comprehensive sports center within the Zaans Medical Center (ZMC).
